Thursday evenings
you can hear the music
from most any corner of the
north side of town....
follow what you're hearing
to the garden
and you will be delighted!
Normally the peaceful gardens are a place
for solitude and rest or quiet meetings
and quaint gatherings...
but, summer Thursday evenings
it transforms to a song-ful
toe-tappin' garden....
where anybody and everybody
can enjoy music from Beatle's tunes
to Classic Music....
(even the butterfly's come out to dance among the flowers)
Last Thursday the Green Onions entertained
a record number of people
with their 60's and 70's music...
KMIT Radio Station was there
with a live broadcast to the station in Mitchell
If you missed last week's performance,
there is still a couple of weeks left
in this summer's lineup of entertainment...
The gardens are spectacular....
Summer goes by so fast...
don't wait too long...
If music be the food of love,
play on.
~William Shakespeare
